Adding some new stones into my repertoire is always fun. In this case, I recently became introduced to specular hematite and immediately fell in love! it’s a sparkle of a different type than that of my druzy pieces, almost like tree bark texture but with an impossibly reflective silvery sheen. Here, I paired it with a small yet intensely blue druzy chrysocolla and a very textural white agate. All components are set in oxidized sterling on a substantial chain. This is currently strung as a long necklace (approximately 30 inches), but I was undecided and think it could be a great shorter statement piece so please message me if you’d like to discuss length options :)
